My latest job I was working as a frontend developer for R7. R7 is a large Brazilian content web site. This project is developing a software platform to attend the present and future needs of the company, by automating several processes that are now manual and offering base abstractions to enable e new kinds of media and interactive services.
The project called for a highly distribute architecture, relying on a refined caching infrastructure and seizing the benefit of asynchronous processing whenever possible. It is developed in Ruby on Rails, Javascript also playing important roles.
